About

Carol Park, L.P.C., R.D., L.D.

Carol Park is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dietitian who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. For over 25 years, she has worked with clients in adult inpatient and day treatment eating disorder programs as well as maintained a successful private practice. Currently, Carol works with all types of disordered eating and eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia,and/or compulsive overeating in her private practice.

As a Registered Dietitian, Carol believes that food issues tend to be a metaphor for other areas in your life that need healing. She believes that the eating disorder issues are a sideways/backwards way to try and work out life issues. In looking at the specific food issues and food behaviors, she believes an individual can begin to understand a more direct way to deal with these issues. In essence, in working out the food issues, the individual can work out life issues, resulting in a more empowered, balanced and whole life.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through your own eating issues, body image issues, or food struggles, or you're just ready to experience a better relationship with food in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
