Megan Ann Martinek, LMT

Megan Ann Martinek is a nationally certified and Maryland state licensed massage therapist. She received her Associates of Applied Science degree in Massage Therapy at the Community College of Baltimore County. Megan specializes in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. She has also received training in Myofascial Release.
While studying, Megan was given the opportunity to provide massage to oncology patients at Franklin Square Hospital, developing a deeper interest in massage as a holistic treatment for bodies both in function and dysfunction.This interest prompted Megan to conduct research in the field of massage therapy as an alternative treatment to the symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression among clients living with Bipolar Disorder. Megan is hoping to get this research published in a peer-reviewed journal upon completion.
Megan approaches each massage, individually and holistically, creating a specific blueprint based on the needs of the individual client.
