I am a Gottman Certified Relationship Therapist, a doctoral level psychologist with over 20+ years of experience. I specialize in couples' counseling and have trained with the top experts in the field, including John and Julie Gottman (author of "The 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work") and Terrance Real (author of "The New Rules of Marriage"). I also work with individuals with problems with anxiety and panic, depression, trauma, and DID. I am trained in EMDR.

Marital/Relationships: I am a Certified Gottman Relational Therapist. I have studied with Terry Real. I include the teachings and interventions of these two leaders in the field of relationships in my work with couples, as well as the teachings in Emotion-Focused Therapy of Susan Johnson and Leslie Greenberg.
I recommend couples read Gottman's book, "The 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work" and Terry Real's books, particularly "The New Rules of Marriage".

I am trained in EMDR and find it immensely helpful with many of my clients, particularly those who are recovering from trauma.

I have studied with Don Beere, Ph.D., the local expert (and a national expert) in the diagnosis and treatment of DID.

I have studied Cognitive Behavior Therapy with Christine Padesky (whose book, "Mind Over Mood" I recommend)

Payment Options I accept personal checks or cash. I do not accept credit cards.

I resigned from all insurance panels several years ago. There is no managed care administrator limiting the number of sessions I can offer you. I work with every client in the most efficient way possible. I assume you would prefer to spend your money on something other than time with me. That said, therapy is an investment in yourself and the rest of your life. I seek to help you maximize your return on that investment.
