"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler." --Henry David Thoreau
We are a counseling practice utilizing a collaborative team approach and a client-centered, communication based, narrative therapy recovery model. It is our goal to help our clients develop self-awareness, appropriate self-care, and interpersonal skills in order to develop healthy interdependent relationships in all areas of life. We believe that a healthy individual will achieve balance physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

We endorse a holistic, proactive care model. We seek to equip individuals to manage struggles before they become dysfunctions. Through life experiences we have learned that the choices others make often dramatically impact our world. Ultimately we have no control over the circumstances of our life, only our reaction to them. Adopting a positive perspective and bringing life back into balance, facilitates the restoration of wholeness and health.

Diana is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She is certified in Civil and Family Mediation. She is an instructor for Interpersonal Communication Programs, Inc. Core Communication, Couples Communication, and Thrivesphere. She is currently completing an advanced counseling certificate in abuse and trauma from the Allender Center at the Seattle School of Psychology and Theology.

Diana specializes in working with adults and children who have experienced abuse and trauma as well as individuals with addictive behaviors and in addiction recovery. She also works with professionals who are experiencing compassion fatigue, exhaustion, burnout, stress, anxiety, and depression.
Diana has a special interest in working with sexual abuse victims.

Diana believes that abuse, addiction, and trauma should be viewed as a symptom rather than diagnosis. An individual should not be defined by their addiction, situation, or victimization but rather seek to define an approach to recovery that embraces a positive, proactive response. She understands that the addiction, abuse, or trauma does not affect just the addict or victim but the entire family system. She focuses on redefining formative relationships, restoring a healthy self-identity and regaining a balance between body, mind and spirit for both the individual and the family.
