About

Morgan Burtt-Henderson, PMHNP

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) practicing in Syracuse, NY.

My practice is focused on the individual treatment of adults age 18 years and older. I see each patient as an individual and work to provide him or her with appropriate psychiatric treatment. Treatment methods that I commonly use include medication management, brief therapy, long term therapy, supportive therapy, along with a variety of other treatment modalities. It is important to know that not all patients with mental health issues require medications, and not all patients require psychotherapy. The treatment that I provide is completely individualized to provide the most optimal care for that person. Regardless of your treatment program, I know that you will find compassion and understanding during our time working together.

I work with a variety of individuals, dealing with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:

Depression
Anxiety
Bipolar
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Eating disorders

Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have.

They had a few different appointment times available but none were perfect for my schedule. I wasn't greeted at all when I walked in the door. No one seemed to notice or care that I was there. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. Person treating me spent more time typing on her laptop than addressing me personally.
