“Catholic” Family and Child Services:

Treatment (if you can call it that) was by a licensed “Agency Affiliated Counselor” employed by Catholic Family and Child Services.

According to the WA State Health Dept there are NO EDUCATIONAL REQUIRMENTS to become an agency affiliated counselor:

To QUALIFY for an “Agency Affiliated Counselor” credential, a person must:
1. Submit a completed application,
2. Pay the application fee,
3. Complete 4 hours of HIV/AIDS education,
4. Submit a verification of employment form from an agency or facility recognized to employ agency affiliated counselors

This is SHOCKING that an organization that uses the name, “Catholic” in its title, would only be employing “Agency Affiliated Counselors” to provide therapy to their clients who are often some of the most severely traumatized people in our community… foster children.

Sad... very sad.
