Nina Savelle-Rocklin

Dr. Nina Savelle-Rocklin, Psy.D. is a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist (California License MFC43526) whose private practice is located in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area. Nina's personal experience with an eating disorder gives her a unique understanding of what it's like to struggle with this issue, and she knows that recovery is possible. Nina provides empathy and understanding, as well as professional and clinical expertise, in the treatment of eating disorders. If you or someone you love has an unhealthy, unhappy relationship with food, she can help.

Nina holds Doctorate in Psychoanalysis from Newport Psychoanalytic Institute, and a Masters of Arts in Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute, graduating with Honors. She received her B.A. degree from the University of California, Davis. She served seven terms as Co-President of the AEL (Alpha Epsilon Lambda) Honor Society. Her article on women and intimacy was published in the Progress Journal, a national psychology publication.

Dr. Nina has extensive experience treating eating disorders in women and men of all ages. Prior to opening her private practice, she held a position as senior staff therapist at an intensive outpatient program for eating disorders, and completed a three-year internship in the psychoanalytic treatment of eating disorders. In addition to facilitating a weekly eating disorder group, she serves as an ANAD community resource leader.
