About
CranioSacral therapy is a gentle treatment modality which is based on Osteopathic principles.
Some of these principles are...that we all have the innate capacity to heal, that the body functions as a whole and that there is constant movement towards normal. My practice is based on the idea that we can use our hands 'to treat the whole patient'. Intuition is part of this approach. I believe that intuition is an important resource and can be developed by anyone.
I have been studying manual therapies for over 15 years. My current studies are in Cranial Osteopathy. Osteopathic practice, in the primary care setting is typically holistic, family oriented, and wellness centered. These are the values that I followed while in family practice as well.

Using a variety of techniques, my goal is to assist my patients in holistic healing. These techniques include insight oriented therapy, craniosacral therapy and energy medicine. With over 15 years of experience in clinic based family practice, I bring extensive medical knowledge to these encounters, however, I do not assume medical care of patients. I do not write presciptions at this time or perform physicals. In 2010 and 2011, I anticipate that WestWinds will evolve into a broader,more diverse family practice wherein I assume medical care of familys and individuals of all ages.
