I just moved to Greensboro in May of 2012 and I am very tenacious about my pets care. I have 2 dogs, a cat, and a bearded dragon. After doing much research I decided on Adams Farm because they are well-established, well known for their quality in care, and have they are one of the few vets in the area that treat exotic animals. I expected a lot, and was not at all disappointed. I was greeted by smiling faces and a very clean waiting room. Considering how busy they were, I was still able to see the doctor within 10 minutes of being there! Love this place, and definitely going back!!

I had a horrible experience at this place. This vet is all about money. They are not explanatory at all.....this is how my experience went.

I brought my dog in because she was itching and scratching a lot. The vet tells me she thinks it may be fleas and she wants to treat it as fleas with frontline.

I repeatedly asked her if she really thought it was fleas and her exact response was "we are going to treat it as fleas and come back in a few weeks and well see if it helped" - sure get another consultation fee out of me and wait a second.....you're a vet a you don't know if my dog 100% has fleas or not???

Than she just takes out a shot and gives it to my dog without explaining to me what it was and what the price was going to be. She also swabbed her but with a q-tip and tacked on an extra $22 without even telling me. They don't give you options like my other vet does they just use high pressure sales tactics and make you feel like an animal abuser if you don't accept what they recommend.


This is the best part....my dog needed to get spayed so she tells me we need to wait until the dog get her first period to see how her vagina develops because the dog has a little extra skin around her vagina and were going to need to do surgery on it so just doesn't get an infection in the future and well just do this when she gets her spay done. THEY WANTED TO CUT PIECES OF MY DOGS VAGINA OFF! my current vet and everyone i talked to said that was the most ridiculous thing they have ever heard.

Long story short this vet is an uneducated hustler who doesn't explain anything to you, does not help you, and just tries to rack up your bill any way possible.

I went in there because my dog was scratching a lot and i left spending over $100 on unexplained shots and anal swabs that my dog didn't need. And fleas was not my dogs problem i googled it, diagnosed and treated it myself....it was food allergies.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THIS VET!...there are many other good vets around do your research and ask around.
