My family was no stranger to seeking psychotherapeutic help when upon the advice of a friend, I consulted Fran Gerstein. Out of the many therapists with whom we had worked only Fran, through extraordinary warmth, intuitiveness and intelligence able to nail what was going on with my family, and she was able to do this fast. Working through my family's problems took awhile but that was because the problems were severe and, I think, that we had all become therapy resistant by the time we got to her. Fran hung in there with us and I am so grateful that she did. I'm sure that we were far from the easiest clients that she has encountered. Fran is a gifted clinician and I couldn't recommend her more highly. She turned around my life, as well as that of my husband and children. She is wonderful.
