This is honestly one of the worst fitness centers I have ever been a member of. I understand it is small and located in a small town, but there are worse problems going on that are not being handled. For starters, the equipment is old and shows it, the weights have the numbers painted on them with what looks like white-out. I would confidently say that about 95% of the members do not clean their equipment after use and maybe 80% don't put their equipment back when they are done using it. This is a very small facility so I would expect simple gym etiquette to not be impossible. Even worse than that, the owner is knowingly allowing a fat "personal trainer" train there and charge members even though he is not certified like he claims. This is actually illegal but their excuse is "he's not an employee". Also it seems between the hours of 2-4 it's a hang out for teenagers to mess around with the weight equipment, stacking as much weight as possible and taking turns seeing who can lift the most and fastest. This is a serious problem as one of these kids could seriously hurt themselves. Meanwhile, the owner just sits behind the desk and pretends he doesn't see anything. All of these issues have been brought up to management over the past few months and we got nothing but excuses and the run around. After less than a year my husband and I cancelled our membership, we do not want to be associated with a facility that puts money before members. My advice would be to proceed with caution.
