My dog had a mast cell tumor on his side. So I made the mistake of bringing him the Acres North to get it removed. Acres North botched the surgery from beginning to end. First the doctor failed to do the histopathology that's required to find out if the tumor is cancerous. The tissue had already been disposed of when I asked so it was too late. Secondly, within hours after the surgery the stitches had come undone and the wound was wide open. This was due to the way the incision had been made. As my dog simply walked the stretching of the skin caused the wound to pull open. If the incision had been done lengthwise as it should have been the stretching would actually have caused the wound to pull closed and there would have been no strain on the stitches. Thirdly, the doctor didn't remove ANY of the margin area of the tumor so it started growing back almost immediately. I had to have a second surgery done, with a different vet of course, to get the tumor properly and completely removed. The second time the incision was done properly and so the stitches remained intact until the would healed. The histopathology was done and the tumor was in fact determined to be cancerous. Acres North is without a doubt the absolute most incompetent vet I've ever come across after many decades of having pets.

The examining rooms at Acres North Veterinary Hospital's office were immaculate. You could practically eat of the floor if you wanted to. There were no bad smells and everything seemed really sterile. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance.
