Dr. Barker delivered my first child. She was a great doctor and still is. She keeps you up to date with a picture of the baby each appointment. I was going to see her for my second child (currently pregnant), however, needed to switch doctors during fourth month. This is where the problems occur. It has taken over a month for them to fax my medical records to my new doctor. The new facility will not make a new appointment until they receive my papers. I have called numerous times and the same thing happens. Nothing. Anyone pregnant, who may feel as if they might have complications, knows that this waiting game, constantly being put on the back burner, is detrimental to the health of your baby and to your health as well- both mentally and physically. This symbolizes to me that the staff does not really care about the patients, thus shines an undeserving black light upon Dr. Barker. I have even asked if they would prefer for me to just pick my records up- I don't mind! Just let me know. I'm not allowed. I have told them of my concerns for my baby- nothing. For this, I have to give this facility a bad review. This facility needs to do something either with the staff or the case load that each staff member cares for, because this is not good for Barkers' reputation.
