This vet has moved into his own building on McCroskey St Nixa, MO.
Things have changed with his practice, he has a lot more staff, all young females in their 20's, most of which are not certified vet techs. They all answer questions and you never know the skill level of who you are talking, too. I will not go back to this vet since these changes. The vet has become somewhat manipulative in his handling of pet owners. He does not go over surgical risks, and he uses the same anesthetic drugs and antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs for all of his patients regardless of their health or age, and he uses high risk drugs when other options are available, either due to his costs, or his convenience with dealing with your compliance. Your pet will not be given a life saving IV during surgery, and not sure if blood pressure is monitored accurately or if at all. You will not be given post op instructions, but will receive a perfunctory call the next day from one of the office help asking how your pet is? What ever you say as long as your pet is not bleeding you're good to go, which is highly unhelpful. This vet will not tell you your options for drugs or surgery risks, he will not call you first to get consent on doing the surgery if your pet has borderline kidney issues. He'll go ahead and do the surgery and will make buckets of dough treating your sick and dying pet, all the while playing games with you about the"cause" of the negative results. It's called CYA. Like to gamble with your pets health? You'll need a strong stomach and a gullible mindset. And if you don't do your homework before you allow your pet to have surgery here, then you're ripe for the picking.
