I am so excited to be able to recommend this vet clinic to another puppy in need.

First of all, it was the best possible experience from start to finish. As my husband would tell you, I was an absolute wreck when I found out Viv needed CCL surgery. I hated that she was in pain and that cost was even a remote issue. I took her to Dr. Holly Scoren at Animal Clinic of Topanga. They scheduled her quickly for surgery within a week and a half. They do surgeries on Tuesdays there, and actually have a practicing surgical partner that comes with over 20 years of operating experience. His name escapes me right now- but they are a fabulous team and incredibly knowledgable and attentive. Before and after the surgery, they called me frequently to make sure she was doing okay. I was so impressed with how they were personally connected and invested in Vivienne's (our lab's) recovery. It was kind of amazing. Also, Holly was very good about not prescribing tons of expensive medicines. She gave me simple options and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

The greatest part was that Vivi recovered almost 5 weeks ahead of schedule. The surgery went perfectly, and even the surgeon was blown away by how quickly she snapped back to normal. It was supposed to be a full 8 weeks for complete recovery, but it ended up only taking a little over 3. I totally contribute that to the care she received there. I know there are skeptics when it comes to CCL surgery, but my dog definitely needed it, and definitely is able to run on hikes with me because of it.

If you end up going there, give my love to Olivia and Monique who keep the place running!

Did the veterinarian allow you to stay with your pet at all times?
No! They took my terrified pet to a different room and wouldn't allow me go
Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit?
Yes, I was in agony!
Does this provider always put the customer first?
Somewhat, but I didn't feel like they cared about my needs
