Dr. David L. Benson purchased West Lake Animal Hospital when Dr. Brent Roberts retired August 1, 2012. It has been a life long dream of Dr. Benson's to own his own practice and he is excited to be working so close to home. Dr. Benson and his staff have been working tirelessly to update the physicalities to ensure that our clients and their pets are comfortable and recieve state of the art care.

I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. They definitely care about patient comfort because they have the best waiting room chairs I've ever seen. I could have easily taken a quick nap while waiting. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. They thoroughly explained the risks and benefits of treatment options. And it was explained in detail with all my questions were answered. I felt sufficiently informed about choosing a treatment plan. Their staff is among the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. Dr benson Is awesome and really has the education and experience in this field .. VERY rare! He really does
care about our furry family. Keep up the good work and thank you, Dr Benson & STAFF~!!

Dr Benson is an excellent veterinarian. I have had experiences at other veterinary facilities where I felt their work was not up to par but I feel like Dr Benson truly cares so much about my pets. Their staff is very knowledgable and know my pets by name when they see them.
