If you love your pet DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!
I can show you the records, where my Newfoundland was
MISdiagnosed. Took my dog in on a Saturday after dog lethargic, sudden lameness and 'sore' or knot on leg. the 'vet' diagnosed my dog as arthritic. I asked WHY DOES MY DOG HAVE THIS 'knot" on her leg what is it?' the vet said nothing she 'seems to have arthritis' she gave her pain meds, the meds were not helping, we went back to the vet and told them, they became belligerent, and said well even though we took X-rays she needs to be evaluated again. REALLY? two weeks later They need more to see if they give a different pain meds?? we refused, took our dog to another vet, that vet requested the X-rays already taken since it had only been 2 weeks, the new vet (from another clinic) said "your dog does not have arthritis and a dog doesn't suddenly become lame because of arthritis'. that vet set an appointment for another visit to see if dog would be healing from meds she had given. the dog was not improving and the "MASS ON LEFT FLANK AREA" as was written on the records by CROSSROADS ANIMAL HOSPITAL on her that I had asked the vet about had now grown to the size of a football CANCER, !!!! CANCER CANCER CANCER... A TUMOR THAT COULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED! it was now too late to remove the cancer as it had grown into her shoulder rapidly to the size of a football. I have the records if you want to see, that Crossroads said on the record, not telling us, that her stomach was distended and she had a "MASS ON LEFT FLANK AREA". This was mid May 2017, my dog DIED OF CANCER THAT COULD HAVE BEEN TREATED , SHE DIED AUGUST 2017.
