I have been a patient of Dr. Weitaman for several months and feel so fortunate to have found her. What prompted me to write was the somewhat critical review about her. Not sure what that was about. She does not have a staff - so how/why did the reviewer comment negatively on a staff that doesn't exist. I have never felt hurried during my sessions. It has always been clear how much I mattered and how skilled a listener she is. She peels away the layers of denial is a gentle and caring way and in a remarkably short time gets to the real issues.
I have seen various therapists over the years before moving to Chicago. None hold a candle to her. Dr. Weitzman's intelligence, insight and caring are remarkable. I would refer her to anyone in need of compassionate, competent help.
