After raving reviews from multiple clients of Leslie and unsatisfied results from other stylist in town I didn't hesitate to make an appointment. She was able to get me in within a week, which was nice. I brought photos and appreciate the amount of consult time she spent with me. We went over and over the color and peekaboo highlights I wanted... and which side I do my hair on. Despite all that time talking about my hair it did not turn out even a hint of what her or I intended or talked about!! After my experience I can't tell wether I am more up set for paying 10.00 shy of 200.00!!! or for her progression of deflecting the unsatisfactory results to be an error on my end. I was embarrassed to walk into Fred Meyers! Hello...It is fairbanks. lol. Not only is there no blonde streaks like I asked, but after I had to take more time from my day to go a check or cash (the don't except C.C... and apologized for not informing before appt.) I returned with payment and asked if I could use her iron to style my own hair( she had ran over on her appt. with me and had a client waiting). Need to say straightening was at least more of a finished look but I grabbed my 3 years hat as soon as I got into the car put it on. I am still wrestling with the fact that I could have done this!!! I needed her for the HIGHLIGHTS!! The cut is dull and I just need to play with it some. Over all can't recommend!! Huge bummer!! Lots of time and money down the tube. It is actually cheeper to go to Charlotte Rouge 260.00 but good results! Darn. I hate learning lessons through my wallet. They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable. My stylist didn't spend a whole lot of time washing my hair. It seemed pretty quick compared to other places I have been. They did not style my hair the way I asked. When I left I felt like I looked like an overgrown poodle.
