Lisa Grod, the nurses and staff at Good Shepherd did an oustanding job for my Father, 86. Lisa, the manager of the facility, is an expert, thoughtful and helpful resource. She has a great ability to "see around corners" and helped my family plan ahead and address patient issues early. Good Shepherd speacializes in wound care (one of my Father's significant issues) and Lisa knows a great deal about diabetes (another of my Father's significant issues). Good Shepherd makes physical therapy, "pals", outside physicians and hospice available. Lisa paid close attention to me and my other family members. All of our suggestions, requests and questions received a prompt response. The staff is very friendly and professional. My siblings and I were very happy that our Dad was able to stay at a skilled nursing facility with the all-around very high quality of Good Shepherd. We felt encouraged and that Dad was in excellent hands..

There has been a resident yelling for help every morning and night for the past few months. Apparently a side effect to his medication, but he is loud in his cries. Also since the summer heat has finally hit, their air conditioning unit sounds like a fan hitting the side of the unit. Loud. Between that and the yelling resident, I can't imagine it being very peaceful for other guests.
