Dr. Martin D.C. pursued her undergraduate studies at Park University in Parkville, MO where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and graduated Cum Laude. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C) Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO. She has been certified in Acupuncture since 1987 from the Acupuncture Society of America.She has completed more than 300 hours of postgraduate training in spinal correction. Currently, Dr. Martin is working on 3 levels of higher education in Nutrition, Neurology and Functional Medicine Dr. Martin additionally, was on the board of directors for Bio-Tech Medics for 5 years where she served as secretary. She actively trained doctor’s offices and med spa’s on how to correctly and safely use the medical therapeutic laser.

Being a Northbrook Chiropractor, Dr. Martin is trained in Diversified technique, Acupuncture, Brain Based Therapy, and is also a certified Gluten Practitioner.

She is also writing a book titled “You Feel Fine, But Are You Healthy”. Dr. Martin believes strongly in the quote “You cannot poison your body back to Health”.

Dr. Martin really knows what she is doinbg-she is extremely knowlegable and has a nice balance between being disciplined and systematic about analyzing data and listening to you (the patient). She takes her time to make sure the evalualation is correct and that you feel in sync with it all. She helped me solve a nagging problem that most doctors would probably tell me I would just have to live with. Her staff is easy to work with as well-making an appt is easy. The office is in a serine office complex nice trees and plenty of parking-I've never had to walk more than a few feet to the door.
