I went to the orthopedist to discuss pain in my lower extremities from running. The doctor refused to discuss any issues i was having with my joints that were not specifically on the appointment notes and said "if i talk to you about everything you have, i will be here all day" and dismissed me from the exam room. Knee was listed on the notes, but i was having ankle pain at the same time. The doctor stated that if i wanted him to look at my ankle, i would have to schedule a new appointment. There was no one in the waiting room, they were not running behind. They only allowed me to discuss with the doctor for what felt like less than five minutes. My impression is that they are more interested in pumping through billable cases than providing quality care.
