Dr. Ratawni is my mother's Primary Care Physician. My mother is a cancer patient and the cancer medication that her Oncologist prescribed affects her blood pressure.

My mother was almost out of the blood pressure medication that Dr. Ratawni prescribed so she began calling Dr. Ratawni’s office two weeks ago in efforts to get the prescription refilled. Over the past two weeks my mother has called Dr. Ratawni’s office over 10 times. Each time my mother called she was advised that Dr. Ratawni was not in the office. No one in Dr. Ratawni’s office has called my mother back within the past two weeks.

After two weeks of calling Dr. Ratawni’s office, today (06/27/14) I called the doctor’s office on a conference call with my mother. Amy answered the phone. Once again my mother was told that Dr. Ratawni was not in the office. Amy stated that Dr. Ratawni should be in the office around 10am. She told my mother to call back at noon. I asked Amy why my mother had to continue calling their office over the past two week period and NO ONE has returned her call. Amy said well the information is on her Dr. Ratawni’s desk. In addition, Amy stated that the doctor has not been in the office. I asked her is this an acceptable practice to have a patient call several times over a two week period without anyone calling her back? Amy informed me that Dr. Ratawni is a busy doctor.

My mother still has not received a call back. We are looking for a new Primary Care Physician.

The receptionists and office assistants are not competent enough to do anything! Do not go to this Dr. Before you go: try this: call them and see if they call you back. They WON'T! That is how you will be treated if you choose this Dr.
