After sitting for an hour past my appointment time I was starting to walk out and got told that "other patients were late and it's normal for him to be running an hour behind." There was not a single one who apologized. The Dr was suddenly available at that time and I agreed to go ahead and see him, as I was walking back he asked the nurse "did you find her?" and then he walked alongside her with me behind them. He didn't even acknowledge me at all. He had her send me for an x ray (why I needed to wait an hour for them to then send me for an x ray I have no idea.) I told the nurses I was pregnant and I assumed he knew when he was sending me for this x ray. When the results came back he came in the room and gave me the verdict, didn't even look at me. Then he was going to prescribe me some pain meds and I reminded him I was pregnant. HE HAD NO CLUE!! Clearly he didn't even look at the notes from that very same visit. He pulled out a little book and found some drug that I had never heard of and told me it was safe but told me it was in the ibuprofen family. I told him that I was told by my OB I couldn't take ibuprofen and he told me that was false. I told him I much prefer to take nothing and explained to him I am a natural type mother who nurses and everything and he ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME!! I will not be taking this medication and I will not EVER be seeing this Dr again. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A DR IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I can't wait till my regular Dr is back from vacation!
