Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I chose to pursue being a physician because I enjoy the challenge of medicine/healthcare. I am fascinated by how the human body works and how we can help that. I chose Family Medicine because I love the relationships built with patients and seeing them over time. I love the variety that I encounter in Family Medicine and like to be part of making communities better and healthier. What I want my patients to know about me: I see it as a privilege to care for patients, to be allowed into their lives and to help them through illness. Serving others and doing the right thing are guiding principles for me.
