I would not recommend this doctor for your health problems or concerns. She does not explain anything. She sells the services/products of her friends rather than addressing your issues (orthopedic insoles, lotions, braces). She does not reflect upon your patient history to be familiar before speaking with you. I have litigation specific to my injury. She made a written statement (reflecting of her unfamiliarity to my history) saying my injury was not germane to the case. She performed surgery to correct my injury. The splint she laid broke, resulting in contusion to my leg/ankle and a DVT blood clot in my calf. No blood clot preventive medicine given, this was major surgery and clearly this blood clot could have ended my life. I am 9 months post-surgery and I am still hurting daily. Most people recover in 3-6 months and I am very healthy. I have suffered great atrophy to my calf muscle and she says this is "normal". I look deformed. Clearly she did not prepare me for this outcome. She is sterile, cold, does not share. If you want answers you better know everything there is to know about your situation and what she will do, so that you know what to ask her before you have her do any surgery. I can assure you, you are on your own with her. She is an insurance surgery queen!

Dr. Bonar performed a bone graft on my distal tibia for a necrotic cyst inside the bone. She was never able to diagnose why the cyst formed. She said that I would likely acheive 80% of original function in the affected ankle. I haven't achieved more than approximately 50% function. I live with constant pain and zero balance. I would not allow Dr. Bonar to perform any type of surgery on me. I was better off before than I am after.
