I have been trapped inside a nightmare the entire time I have been a patient at this dentist. I started seeing McClintock in 2011 and by the end of 2012 I was done with her and her staff. The receptionist is by far the most rude person i've ever dealt with in any type of office or 'professional' setting. The dentist has no clue what is going on and how patients get treated by her- she always takes her side. The dentist filled a cavity on my lower jaw which still to this day has not been completed. I am still sensitive to sweets and certain foods on the tooth. She also pulled a back wisdom tooth which I told her repeatedly was not complete either. This dentist as well as her secretary made me feel like a hypochondriac. When she pulled the wisdom tooth I heard breaking and obviously it was an extremely hard job for her to do as it took much longer than expected. Bone was broke off into my gum line and as it worked its self out she was on VACATION and no one in the office would assist me or call me in any pain medication- I was more or less told to "deal with it". I went back at least 2 more times asking what was wrong with these two teeth and the last time I was told (as a paying patient) I was told by her, a dentist, a professional, that there was nothing wrong. She had the nerve to come into the room and tell me I would NOT be getting a refund, I should NOT be rude to her staff, and she also asked ME (who has no dental experience at all) what was wrong with my tooth? Well, I left her office and about 2 weeks later received my dental records and a 200$ check in the mail. I would never return to this dentist. EVER. I now go to a new dentist and what do you know? They found broken pieces of bone left over near my wisdom tooth AND found that my cavity needed to be refilled. I am so angry about this situation. The new dentist looked in my mouth and found immediately there was a problem with my missing wisdom tooth. She took an x-ray and there it was a broken off piece of bone- plain as day- anyone could have seen this! I am so disgusted with being treated like an inconvenience to her and like a hypochondriac- it just goes to show you people's true colors- only there for the money and not to really help someone in pain. I do not recommend this dentist and I have told every single person who asks about dentists my experience with Michelle McClintock and her staff- horrible.
