Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that works. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. They definitely favor certain clients, and make an extra effort to help those clients. I was afraid that they wouldn't help me if they didn't like me. My biggest complaint other than not getting quality dental care was the way the staff and dr. talked negatively about other patients in front of me. Did not like dr. singing in my ear to 80's rock and roll while treating me. Especially turned off by front desk male person...rude, snide, pushy and moody. I'm so happy to have found a competent, professional replacement for my dental care.

DO NOT GO HERE. I cannot express my disappointment in service, professionalism and safety at Enchantment Dental in Santa Fe, NM. I had 3 unfortunate visits that left me feeling violated and taken advantage of (the visits were all within a 2 week period before my insurance ran out). At 1st glance they seem professional and helpful, but soon you will come to realize that they have no problem putting you in an uncomfortable situation and performing unnecessary dental work on you. The secretary (who is the husband of the Doctor) performed dental work on me while the office manager/dental assistant left to do work on another patient. During my visit while they performed cavity work (which turns out I only had 1 but they performed 3) they made jokes and criticized a patient that was in earlier. Not to mention the yelling back and fourth to each other and the Doctor singing Led Zeppelin into my ear while drilling away at my teeth. When they finished the procedure they left me in the chair with my bib still on and a mouth full of blood and water. I had to get up and take care of myself, which is totally unacceptable after a procedure like that with a numb mouth. Unfortunately I had a second visit for another couple of cavities, which I suspect were not even there. I arrived 15minuets late and received high school like glares from the office manager/dental assistant and secretary and soon after was strongly scolded by the office manager/dental assistant (not to mention I waited up to 1/2 hour for my last visit). When I got in the chair and explained to the doctor that my teeth from the previous treatment still were rough and sharp she said to me that maybe today was not the best day to do anymore work and that I should go home (I hadn’t even mentioned that I was still very soar from where she gave me the shot last time and from where she burred off my gum line at the tooth). I was shocked. We ended up doing just one of the cavities and would leave the other for another day. She started by numbing me with ointment for less then a minute before she began to administrate the Novocain into my gums with such excruciating pain that produced tears. It seemed as thought she was taking her anger out on me with the shots. The procedure went quickly which produced the question of if I wanted to proceed with the other tooth, I quickly answered no. I was then told that I should be fine for a year or more…… So again I’m not sure any of the procedures were really needed at all. Horrifying experience. It’s amazing to me that they are in business performing procedures on innocent patients!
