My son had braces put on to straighten his teeth. Not twenty minutes after he leaves the chair, his first bracket came loose. It wasn't even properly cemented! Then another came loose. We were following the rules as to dietary restrictions and cutting his food up into bite size pieces so he wouldn't tear at the food. Still had the wire snap not a week after the braces are put on. Called the office and left multiple messages--no response. I even called the emergency number and no response. It's been less than 14 days and we had to cut the wire that had broken because it was tearing into his gums. I've had braces and orthodontic work for years--I have been to multiple orthodontists growing up--I never have dealt with a doctor as either incompetent or negligent as Nelson Orthodontics. And for their shoddy work they expect you to pay a penalty of $15 per broken wire or bracket? I'm having them take the damn things off my son and finding a competent orthodontist!
