I was very unsatisfied with their Dental Services. The receptionist asked for payment in full before my dental work even began and the bridgework never fit properly when finished .

Both myself and my husband were long time patients of Banyan Dental. However, Dr. Jade Thomas should not be allowed to practice dentistry. Dr. Thomas started a root canal on my husband but didn't finish his work. He said nothing to my husband about this and sent him on his way for a long weekend. My husband woke up the next day in horrible pain. Dr. Thomas had not prescribed anything for pain, and then wouldn't return the multiple phone calls. When my husband went to the endodontist, the endodontist couldn't believe that my husband was left in that condition. My husband only continued to go to the practice because the rest of the staff is very nice, including Dr. Thomas' wife Dr. Salehi
I had a filling recently with Dr. Thomas. After the filling, my tooth was very sensitive. I started to experience nerve pain shooting up my jaw and into my ear. When I went to Dr. Thomas he didn't take an x-ray but instead said I needed to use sensodyne and to see a general doctor about my ear ache. That "the filling couldn't get any better". I didn't experience any relief from the toothpaste, and my general doctor said my ears were fine. My pain was getting worse, so I again returned to Dr. Thomas. Again, he said his filling was fine and that there was nothing wrong with my tooth. He still wouldn't do an x-ray. That same day, I went to an endodontist for a second opinion. The first thing this Dr. did was TAKE AN X-RAY! We immediately could see that this "perfect" filling was on the nerve. A few hours later, thanks to a root canal, I am pain free.

Banyan Dental is clearly not looking out for the best interest of their patients. I would never ever recommend this practice. Beware.

Did your provider ask enough questions that you felt they took a holistic approach to your appointment?
I think they really try to take a holistic approach but I felt a bit rushed with all their questions.
