He was a few minutes late. He rushed into the room with a "to go" coffee. Briefly introduced himself, speaking extremely fast. He told me not to sit in a specific chair as he would be sitting there. He seemed very arrogant as he explained that he was neither my doctor, nor was I his patient. He told me that he would be recording and not to speak but if I disagreed with anything that he said to raise my hand, he would stop the device and amend with what I felt was incorrect. So I sat there feeling like I was in the Twilight Zone while he talked into his hand held device. At one point there was an error, I raised my hand and explained to which he replied, that doesn't really matter. Next a very brief examination with which he apparently used to recommend a full and unrestricted return to a very strenuous, physically demanding job. He was rude and behaved as though he was annoyed at having to be there. He asked if I had any questions and when I didn't he said, you can go. Ridiculous. This appointment was at 7:45 am and I was told to be there 30 minutes early. That wasn't happening so I had the paperwork emailed to me and I filled it out in about 5 minutes. The paper also said to allow up to two hours for the total appointment time but I was out of there in about 15 minutes. Either he had no idea of the extent of my injury or no conception of what my job requires. This man does not even live in my state, he flies in once a month to do these IME's. Overall impression: I'm smarter and more important than you are but I'm being paid so let's get this over with so I can go home. Awful.

This was to be an IME (independent medical exam) for my work. I hurt myself at work and have been dealing with crap ever since! My employer sent me to this rude person who was treating me as less than a human being. I got up and WALKED OUT!!!
