My name is Brian Messman. I'm the fiancee of Mary Ann Bork . She used to manage the Resturant Italia for Joe & Pina Lollino for about 10 years and said you used to frequently visit that resturant. Although you two are no more than just acquaintances , she feel confidence in your judgements. For mary Ann the last 3 years have been life changing for the worse. In Oct.2007 she was hit and run by a car while riding her bicycle and was taken Edward Hospitol where they found she had a Grade 2 Glioma Brain Tumor. I don't know all the details of what happened there except at the time of her accident she had just opened her own resturant in Westchester called Angelows and at that time she was uninsured .In May of 2008 she had a biopsey done at the U of I that didn't go so well , without mentioning the Drs. name ,he hit 1/2 timor and 1/2 brain leaving her paralized on her left side for about a month and after staff infections she finally got out after 2 months and still suffers the consquences of that botched biopsey today ( week on the left side ) She seems to bring your name up all the time and I've done alot of research on tumors i.e. Cleveland clinic, University of Pittsburgh and today she is on Medicare and I just want whats best for her. So if you can do anything or make a recommendation for us it would be GREATLY appreciated. She did have on course of radiation in November of 2008 at St Joes in Elgin that scrank the tumor by almost 1/3 and we do have access to the MRIs 2 from the last year and one as recent as 2 months ago . I'm sorry to take your time but these days Mary has bad short term memory but excellant long term memory and keeps bringing up your name and talking to you because not only do you seem to be a reknowned Dr. but she feels comfodable in haveing an opinion from somebody shes atleast aquainted with!!!
