My experience with surgery South was horrible. My surgeon was Brian Myers he ended up having to operate on me twice to repair a hiatal hernia. Now I have Gastroparesis and will have to undergo a third surgery to repair the damage. I regret going to this office and especially being referred to Brian Myers. I almost died during the second surgery and was hospitalized almost 30 days as a result. My quality of life has been reduced tremendously. I was told I would only have to be in the hospital one night if he did not have to extend my esophagus. He did not have to but it was really scary for my family and I .By the grace of God I am still living but I am more miserable as a result of the surgery.

I still have gastroparesis from Dr. Bryan Myers damaging my vagus nerve from surgery in 2014. Prior to surgery I weighed 240 now I am down to 160. I still have severe diarrhea and stomach aches. I barely eat. I have no energy and am depressed from having the initial hiatal hernia repair surgery at the hands of Dr. Bryan Myers. It was to improve my quality if life but I wished I had of dealt with the gerd. The surgery allows food to move to my colon but now as soon as I eat I have to go to the restroom. But on the bright side whenever I burp it doesn't smell like a rotten garbage disposal(as my children tells me).. I just thank God i'm alive. Only my faith in him and my children keeps me striving. Please do not go to Bryan Myers he's the worse physician I ever encountered. I will never forget him and will not stop telling my story. If you need surgery instead try Dr Edward Lin.
