The receptionist is rude and ignorant. She refused to talk to me till I went on the web site printed the medical forms, filled them out , fax them to her and then it is entered into their system. I was trying to tell her that my son has disabilities and see if they would be able to take him for an emergency appt. She continued to cut me off to tell me that nothing can be done till she had the forms and the information was put in the system. I asked her once I filled them out would they call me not him. She said they would call the number on the form. She still was not understanding that he is an adult child with disabilities. I filled out the forms and faxed them over and waited. That night my son tells me that someone kept calling about his teeth. I called the dentist right away and left a message to please call me and gave all my numbers again. Next day still no call. Finally I call them. Same rude receptionist, claims she never got my message. When I tried to schedule a appt. she says he missed his appt. that morning. I told her that he has disabilities and should not of been called. She told me she personally spoke to him and did not get that impression. She also was kind enough to tell me that we would not be able to get another emergency apt since we missed the first one. My son would have to wait a week in pain. The WORST part was I got a bill in the mail for a no show fee, 75 bucks. When I called to dispute the bill guess who I spoke to, the same rude lady. I asked to speak to the dentist and was told he would call me. I never heard from him but the nasty letters keep coming asking for their money.

I'm very surprised to see negative reviews. I've been going to Healthy Smiles in Trolley Sq. since 2008. I went in with multiple issues and have been back as a satisfied customer ever since. The Dr. has never tried to do any unnecessary work and the hygienists and assistants are always very nice and professional.
If there is any criticism I could think of, it's that visits aren't normally quick. If you consider that Dr. Sweeney is the only dentist there, it's certainly understandable that he wouldn't rush through one patient to get to another. It's always busy there when I go but he takes the time to explain anything that needs to be done I never feel rushed to get out of the chair for the next customer.
The office is clean and neat, reception tries their best to be accommodating and helpful when it comes to insurance matters (a source of everyone's frustration I'm sure).
I would recommend Dr. Sweeney highly and hope you find this review helpful

Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met

Not at all. They took their time and made sure I was satisfied

Definitely! It felt more clean than it's ever felt!
