Francisco Montoya, MD

Frank J Montoya, MD, is board certified in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. He founded AdventHealth Medical Group’s pulmonary critical care practice in Tavares in 1996 with the mission of providing optimum specialty care to the residents of Lake County and surrounding areas. He completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and his internal medicine residency at Fitzgerald Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, PA. He has served as Director of Pulmonary and Critical Care at AdventHealth Waterman, and he is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr Montoya is Cuban-American and fluent in English and Spanish.

I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. I can tell it is maybe not a top priority to maintain a professional appearance here. They didn't look terrible, but there is definitely lots of room for improvement. They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster.
