Not only a remarkable surgeon but an incredible human being, Dr. Greathouse operated on my daughter for a brain tumor in 1980. Due to a previous surgery we had to wait for 2 weeks in the hospital before he could operate...each morning when he came in at 5 a.m. he would find me in the waitingroom and come and sit with me and talk. He even gave my daughter his tickets to a Dodgers came for when she recovered. We won't forget him

Great Doctor. In 2002, I suffered a brain bleed, deep in the ventricles. Dr. Greathouse explained the options, including surgery, to my wife and my parents. Given the risks from surgery, that deep in my brain, my wife opted for a chemically induced coma. Dr. Greathouse came to see me everyday. Finally after 20 days, I was able to answer the questions, my scans showed no recent bleeding and I was sent home. Recovery has been a long road, but I thank Dr. Greathouse for helping me.
