One of Dr. Levine's staffers caused me two needless months of pain by resolutely failing to schedule my appointment for surgery. Dr. Levine himself did a good job. I mentioned this problem to Dr. Levine after the surgery.
Since similar symptoms have returned, I tried to schedule an appointment. I was never told that an MRI was needed or given the office's procedures for requesting approval. I therefore had to cancel my first app't for lack of an MRI. In ignorance, having made an MRI app't and knowing a prescription was needed, I asked for and promptly received one. . When I finally was put in contact with the appropriate personage, she requested that I fax her her office's prescription. This I did within an hour, but instead of getting permission she proceeded, for some strange reason, to question the authenticity of the prescription and otherwise managed to prevaricate long enough to lose me the MRI app't. In general, this lady was never around before 2 PM and her recording mentioned that responses would only be made after 2 PM.
I do not wish to subject myself to Dr. Levine's staff any longer and will so inform Dr. Levine, if I can get through his staff. Whatever Dr. Levine did or did not do after my initial complaint, the office has now failed in two functions.
