Dr. Jay Kruse is committed to excellence by pledging to provide the highest quality of orthopedic care possible. Along with the treatment of immediate and chronic problems, he strives to integrate the doctrine of prevention in all his treatment plans as a way to alleviate possible future difficulties.

Through the use of innovative, cutting-edge technology, Dr. Kruse is committed to providing you with the most current treatments available.

Dr. Kruse has been in private practice since 2003 when he joined Orthopaedic Partners. He currently is Medical Director of Orthopedic Surgery at Unity and Mercy Hospitals. Through a variety of Orthopedic courses and seminars, Dr. Kruse is continually advancing his knowledge.

Dr. Kruse evaluates all types of orthopedic problems, but is especially interested in joint replacement and sports medicine. He focuses on applying new and cutting edge technologies in day-to-day practice which make surgery less painful and help to assure a speedier recovery.

Services Dr. Kruse specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, with a focus in hip and knee surgery. Dr. Kruse is dedicated to providing his patients with the best treatment possible, and will use a minimally invasive approach to treating joint pain whenever possible. He is highly experienced in the treatment of a variety of conditions, including hip arthritis, knee arthritis, ACL tears, rotator cuff tears, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, fractures, and bunions. Dr. Kruse and his support staff are amazing! I had a right hip replacement on January 8 and from the first person who checked me in at Unity Hospital, to the nurses, the lab techs, the anesthesist and his team, Dr, Kruse and his team, the therapists and the doctors and nurses from recovery to discharge - I am extremely pleased with my care. Within five minutes of my first appointment with Dr. Kruse - I was assured I had the best doctor to do my surgery. He was not only skilled in this area - he also had the capability to make be feel less stressed. He is a positive, wonderful example of 'good bedside manner'. I have and will continue to recommend him. I would urge anyone who needs any joint replacement to follow is directions, attend the classes and know you are in Great Hands!
