I recently read your article on Diffuse Idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis. It not only occurs in "older males". There are quite a few of us on Faceback, and we are mostly WOMEN. There are some men, and we cover a wide range of ages. I myself am a 45 year old female. Most were dx'd at a younger age, me only 2 years, and supposedly it's nothing to worry about, but it hurts. And some in our group are quite advanced in complications. Choking issues, mobiliy issues, quality of life issues. I ask you to withdraw your article and look further into the matter. Mine is not advanced like theirs, but I see what I have to look forward to. Thanks for reading.
