I have chronic headaches which have gotten a whole lot worse in past half year. After trying one preventative medication she gave me for a month which made me throw up violently, my stomach hurt constantly and lose 2/3 of my hair (it still kept on falling out after I stopped the medication for a while!) - which is AWFUL for a young female, she said "nothing will help you, try botox," even though I specifically told her that I would NEVER do botox or even be able to make the one hour drive to the doctor who does the injections. It was as though she did not hear me. I was rushed out of her office without any suggestions for trying other preventatives or even pain medication and felt so hopeless because the pain is SO BAD every damn day I dint know what to do or who to turn for that I cried in my car in the parking lot for 30 minutes. Chronic strong pain is a horrible thing to live with and unbearable. If it wasn't for my pdoc who stepped in and is trying to help me by doing what he can for now and trying to find a preventative medication I would have probably jumped off a bridge or something... The two times I have seen her she has admitted she knows NOTHING about headaches and migraines so if you want to see someone for that she is NOT the doc to go to. She will just tell you to go to her buddy headache specialist doctor who is really far away. Do you really want to pay for a visit just to hear that? NYC headache specialists who are better and are more known in the dr. community are closer to us then who she recomends. Dr. Roth = bad bad Dr... doesn't even put any effort to make it worth the $ u spent or feel bad for your suffering :/
