Dr. Douglas Brown joined Heritage in 2007. He brought with him twenty-five plus years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in the Nashville area. Dr. Brown earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Brown is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Services Heritage Medical Associates was founded in 1991, when three independent groups of internists came together to form an organization that would be ideally suited to continue to offer quality patient care in the ever-changing health care setting. From the original practices, we have grown to be the largest independently-owned multi-specialty group in Middle Tennessee, with over 100 physicians and other providers practicing more than a dozen specialties. In addition to the physician practices, we offer a full range of laboratory and diagnostic services, including advance imaging such as mammography, CT and MRI.
