i am an experienced psychotherapist, in practice for 30 yrs. i work with adults of all ages, specializing in counseling for older people. i aim to fit my techniques to what my client needs. I help people to focus on the present, using explorations of early or past events to help to illuminate what is going on now. i offer hypnosis in the context of psychotherapy to help with anxiety, and habits that cause difficulty (poor sleep, smoking, nail-biting, hair pulling...) and by itself for clients who have a specific issue with which they want to deal.
