About

Michaela L Stenger, PsyD

"My specialty and love are helping individuals at transition points of their lives, with a focus from mid-life and on. This can be a time of dealing with many losses. These losses may include family, friends, and your role in community. This is also a time when we are surrounded with "Myths of Aging, ie Memory Loss and Depression". My goal is to educate fact vs myth & ease life's transitions so you can continue life with dignity, respect, and new hopes and dreams. MEDICARE ACCEPTED House calls are available for homebound*(Physician approval may be necessary for home visits).
Individual therapy as well as community education programs. I maintain a close working relationship with health care providers & other community agencies to maximize scope of services available to those in need. Individually designed programs to improve memory & quality of life in individuals with mild to moderate memory loss.
Family consultations to assist with long-range care planning and decision making as well as psychosocial and environmental assessments are provided to clients and their families with specific concerns. Memory Assessments and Specailized memory enhancement programs.
