Phyliss excels at bullying, harrasment, interrogation, never being on time, and delivery non-stop pummeling for what she deemed to be everything that’s wrong with me. I’m still traumatized. Phyllis rented office space from my previous therapist, thus becoming privy to their most confidential personal information, which no professional would ever whisper into the ear of one of their previous clients, Yet Phyllis did, weaving some in each of our talks:. Gender indentification, role within a marriage between 2 women, recent personal tradgedies, and a constant flow of judgemental insults about this persons “character flaws.” Phylis had begun to counsel.previous therapist after recent devastating event, and clearly talk between 2 therapists, or therapist and client is assumed to be confidential. Phylis violated not only professiinal thrust, the private life of an individual who she had a business arrangement with. There’s no excuse. Phylis is a walking weapon.

Find someone else. Phyllis was a disaster. She claimed my insurance covered only 45 minute sessions (it was 60). She bullied me to stay later. She charged me $20 for every 15 minutes above 45, including the 15 that should have been included. The pricing wasn't the issue, but since she never reported those "overage sessions" to my insurance, I couldn't use my flex spending account on them. She also insisted on cash payments before each appointment. I know billing and paperwork is a hassle, but the way she handled it seemed shady and like she was trying to scam me into paying her more money under the table. . She also gave me crazy guilt trips for one night out a week when I would actually socialize and see my friends or the fact that I had my kids in after school activities because clearly I should have been spending every waking moment at therapy.

When I told her that her billing practices just didn't work for me and I needed someone who would take a credit card or send me a bill, she yelled at me. Who does that? So unprofessional.
