About
Barrett Family Wellness Center was created to treat children AND educate parents on how best to help their children at home. The parent education piece is often missing when a child receives therapy in school.
Barrett is proud to offer a fun and stimulating facility, complete with a 1,000 sf sensory gym filled with functional toys and suspension equipment for all ages. Barrett's sensory integration tools and experience add to your child's unique therapy plan and progress. Barrett's staff have observed remarkable improvement in any form of treatment when the child is sensory-balanced to their specific needs.
Barrett Family Wellness Center offers a full range of occupational and speech therapy programs that address developmental problems in children including those with: Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disability, Autism and Aspergers Syndrome, Mobility Disabilities, Sensory Processing Issues, Receptive/Expressive Language, and Speech Sound Disorders including Articulation and Phonological Disorders. We also work with parents and families to help them better understand their childs behaviors and needs and how to carry the therapy from our center into their home.
