World Fitness Association (WFA) is a National Fitness Certification and Training Center located in east Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our unique “hands-on”, practical training approach prepares aspiring trainers for modern, real world scenarios. WFA is the alternative to the online and study-at-home certification programs. World Fitness Association is dedicated to the practical education and professional excellence in the health and fitness industry.
World Fitness Association has been training and certifying fitness professionals for over 32 years in the South Florida region as well as across the country. World Fitness Association produces some of the most confident, cutting-edge, dynamic and creative personal trainers and group fitness instructors in the industry. This is a direct result of the experienced high character students that we enroll and the real world, practical training that we provide. Every training course begins with a 60 minute instructional boot camp style workout to improve personal fitness levels. Training courses include the utilization of a variety of portable equipment such as free weights, resistance bands, medicine balls, stability balls, jump ropes, bosu balls, agility ladders, foam rollers, thera bands, sliders, kettlebells, resistance tubing, TRX suspension training and more. Our high value trainers learn the importance of building interest and excitement within a fitness facility and are educated on how to build rapport with members in a strategic, non-threatening manner. All certification and training courses are led by licensed educators with advanced degrees and years of successful experience making our student's success our absolute mission.
World Fitness Association is the only fitness certification and training center that gets its trainers JOB READY. WFA continues to staff well over 85 major gyms and health clubs in the South Florida region alone. World Fitness Association graduates also work in major corporations, hospitals, resorts, cruise ships, luxurious hotels, spas, private training studios and fitness centers across the country as well as around the world. Independent personal trainers provide mobile personal training alternatives by traveling to clients’ homes, condos, office buildings, public parks, and beaches.
