I went to Richard Albin in June 2010 for a facelift. The right side of my face ended up being much larger than the left. Albin offered to revise it at no cost. The revision was in January 2012. During the revision I received a 1"x.5" cautery burn in the nasolabial area of my right cheek as well as significant nerve damage. In pre-op we discussed removing some of the "scar tissue mass" from immediately below my cheekbone and in front of my ear. Instead, my right cheekbone was reduced, my right cheek flattened and a large portion of tissue removed from my right jawline, causing it to notch inward rather than curve outward like my left jawline. So far I have spent more than $11,000 on trying to reconstruct the right side of my face with fillers and fat grafts. Albin has refused to help me with this financially. My right cheekbone hurts constantly.
