Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Pursuing a career in therapy has always felt like a natural calling for me. From an early age, I was very in tune with others, fascinated with the brain and aware of the pain people carried with them. Being a therapist allows me the opportunity to advocate, empower, motivate and encourage resilience in others and to help them cultivate their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. What I want my patients to know about me: Since 2009, I have been working in the field of social work/therapy in a variety of roles including both inpatient and outpatient settings. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel they can explore themselves.
