Gerontologist

Gerontologists are health care providers that specialize in all aspects of care for elderly patients. While some gerontologists may work out of their own offices, often they provide care to patients in senior citizen centers, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. There are many different types of gerontologists including research gerontologists, applied gerontologists, and administrative gerontologists.
